Job Description:
The web designer creates and maintains MCF's website. The purpose of the MCF Website is to communicate the existence of MCF to the general public as well as provide an opportunity for other practice firm network participants to engage in virtual business transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Consult with other Practice Firm participants and facilitators to develop and coordinate website content design the appearance, layout and flow of the website
- Develop website architecture and determine hardware and software requirements
- Gather web page materials (text, audio, visual)
- Convert material and information into internet compatible format
- Test website for bugs and ensure it achieves the goals and objectives of the Practice Firm
- Update the website
- Write, modify, test software code and integrate for e-commerce and other internet applications
- Track who is using and accessing the website
- Maintain and upgrade the website on an ongoing basis
- Complete other duties as requested by MCF Facilitators

Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalent. Related college, HTML/XML languages, Macromedia Flash, computer programming. Good written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible and able to work within timelines and a team environment.
