Job Description:
Under general supervision of the Commercial Operations Coordinator, the purchasing agents is responsible to maintain a purchasing system for order forms, purchase orders, monitoring receipts of goods, request for payment to MCF accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports and price lists.
- Review requisition orders for accuracy
- Order merchandise from warehouse
- Coordinate weekly group purchasing sessions
- Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers and paper purchase orders
- Calculate cost of order and forward invoices to Sales department
- Contact suppliers to resolve shortages, missed deliveries and other problems
- Become familiar with e-commerce on Plasmont.com and introduce participants to the site
- Maintain vendor list on Excel
- Perform a variety of administrative duties

Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalent. Diploma/Certificate in office administration(or related program)or related experience. Knowledge of MS Office. Friendly and professional with good communication and interpersonal skills.
